Night Trekking

Mt. Maculot is one of the famous spots for climbing here in the Philippines because of its location. At its peak, the scenic taal lake is very enticing and the picturesque view of the town of Batangas in direly inundating. And would you believe that at the peak may nagtitinda ng HALO-HALO, PASALOAD, AUTOLOAD, BOY BAWANG at iba pa!D ba nakakatuwa...

It's a 3-hour travel from Manila. We took a bus in Buendia at around 3 o' clock and reach Batangas at 6 o' clock, it was already dark when we got there. Before slogging, we paid 30 pesos as registraion fee in Brgy. Siete and ate our pack lunch after.

Although for climbers Mt. Maculot is considered a minor climb, two of our companion were hapless since they were injured. Well maybe one factor is it's a night trek so the trail is obviously dark and some areas are darn slippery.

Most of these photos were taken in "Rockies." It's the most favorite spot for climbers coz it is where you can catch a great glimpse of Taal Lake and the town of Batangas.

My PBB Big 4

There has been mounds of brouhaha inside the Big Brother house. Everyone inside is thinking that they're putting up a good fight to each of the crisis they're in and that they're at the affirmative side of the story. Hmmm...people have their own perspective and judgment concerning this show (although the whole story is not known to everyone), so you decide..

When I read PBB Forum on the net, much has been said about Wendy, in which negative accounts had been thrown entirely to her and the worst, some laid the blame to the station for allowing Wendy emitting her notoriety. People in that site even dubbed her as “Wendemonyo.” Frankly speaking, I've been actually trying to join the forum but I'm so direly dumb that I can't even manage to post a message that I became frazzled and I gave up. I can't figure out what must have amiss in my registration matter of fact I faithfully followed all the instructions.:-(

Anyways, after a careful and thorough deliberation on the matters.*-* My big four are:

1. BEA - she possesses a happy disposition, a good example to all, she has good stance to everything
2. MICKEY - he has powerful leadership ability, has an artistic flair
3. GEEANN - she is indeed a sweet darling, she is not afraid to show off her weaknesses, is indulge with a great talent in dancing
4. BODIE - well may sense naman cya better than Neil

I'll catch hold of this moment to offer a little prayer to our dear GOD. I've been so hooked up by life's hustle and bustle that I sometimes forget to acknowledge YOU LORD for the beauty of sunrise, for the food in our table, for the cloths we wear, for the money we earn, for the friends who listen to our burdens intently, for the family who loves us profoundly, and most necessarily for the beauty of LIFE.

WE THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERY BIG AND LITTLE STUFFS YOU BESTOWED UPON US!

MY LAST! PROMISE

I've been going gaga over figuring out the best layout in blogger since last month. I've switched from one skin to another numerous times. I'm so happy I finally came up with a shrek layout. Although, I'm not really super-duper, mega avid fan of Shrek, but I find Shrek 3 a very cool movie. If I'm going to rate it from 1-10, ummmmm..... i'll give 9.5.

Symptoms of Inner Peace

I found this stuff in the web (just click the title for more). I concur with this writings and thought it would be good to spread the good news.

And it goes.......

Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

1. A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

2. An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.

3. A loss of interest in judging other people.

4. A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.

5. A loss of interest in conflict.

6. A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom).

7. Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

8. Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.

9. Frequent attacks of smiling.

10. An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.

11. An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

DOOMSDAY

It was a long weekend. It was supposed to be days of merrymaking, bonding with the family and not to forget unrestricted long hours of sleep.

But it turns out to be a catastrophe that will not ever dwindle in the memories of my family.

Last Sunday, June 10, our family headed to Manaoag, Pangasinan to hear mass. All in all we are a horde of 15 people. I rode in Starex together with my cousins, aunt, uncle as well as my lola. The second vehicle was an FB L300, loaded with 7 people. The night before, all of us were in Dasma in my aunt's place. Everyone was busy preparing for our baon (cripy pata, fried chicken and pork, suman, adobo of course rice and a lot more)and chitchatting about anything and everything under the sun and not to forget kulitan with my pinsans coz it's the only time we got together again after New Year's celebration of this year.

We leave at around 6:00 AM in Dasma, we reach our destination about 11:30. Unluckily, the FB got a problem, the engine conked out but it was fixed abruptly. Then by 2:00 PM, if i'm not mistaken we head for home. My Auntie Gina was even thinking of eating in a famous restaurant somewhere in Dagupan yata or Tarlac, i'm not sure basta lagi ko cyang nakikita, outside the restaurant are big fish and and egyptian knights, it's even featured in "Kay Susan tau."

And then the rests is history........

We travelled in convoy, the starex first and FB was following us. My uncle got a glimpse at the side mirror and uttered "FB NATIN UN AHH!!!!" In just a second, I, michelle and auntie gina were running towards the FB. The FB collided with Dagupan Bus Liner. Ahhhhhhhhhh! I really shouted and shocked by what I saw!!!! My Tita (sister of my lola, dapat lola din tawag ko sa kanya db)is blooded, wasak ang harap ng FB, the dashboard was very closed to my tita's body. I can't explain my feelings at that time, it was a mixed emotion, I really wanted to cry but I don't want to panic. Michelle was valorous enough, she's the one who's telling tita cordia to come down. A bundle of people are looking at us. Thank to those who help my tita got out of the vehicle. And auntie mina was at the back seat and also seriously injured her feet that she needs to undergo two operations. We brought them to the nearest hospital but they lack facility so they just gave a first aid afterwhich we traveled again to Tarlac, Tarlac City in Ramos General Hospital.

T'was my first time to be in the ambulance, I almost cried again but I can't show it to my two aunts.

Little Miracles can Happen Everyday

There is so much to thank and celebrate the Goodness of GOD. Not just the gift of life but the occurrences that transpire everyday.

There has been a turbulence that keeps on crushing my mind this past few days. I was really bewildered and anxious. But beyond all those ordeals, even if I got loads of thoughts in my mind, I continue to live everyday of my life normally with high hopes and prayers.

And just today a miracle happen to me. I can utterly say that this is the time that I truly needs God's help. And He didn't had a second thought of bestowing the thing that I direly yearn.

Although we heard a lot of stories about miracles, I'm glad I was able to experience it today. Sometimes even if you don't really ask for it, it just comes in mystifying ways. God is utterly sensitive and He's always been receptive to all our clamors. Even though, it will not come as perfect as what you're thinking and as classy as you wish, it's just ample to brighten up your day. And we just need to appreciate things and be grateful.

Now I realized, with firm hopes and candid prayers from a chaste heart nothing is impossible. Just continue praying and who knows miracle is knocking at your doorstep today right at this very moment.
