Beware bloggers!

Bloggers battered by viral storm .
Google's Blogger site is being used by malicious hackers who are posting fake entries to some blogs.

I've been hooked up to BBC these days and I can say that my mind is fortified with mounds of knowledge talaga (haha feeling HENYO). And my recent discovery is so appalling to the blogger's world. Read the complete details HERE.

A hindsight

I have always consider myself as an optimistic person. I tried looking at the brighter side of the world, even when the world seem to turn its back from me. When lonelines and depression beset and torment my life, pondering on the blessings that God bestowed on me alleviates my troubled heart.

One thing I learned, fighting against our negative feeling is not a piece of cake. But I know our love of God will pave the way. I know it's outrageous to ask Him about our misfortunes, at one point in my life I can't avoid but to knock at his door. It's my flimsy belief that put me sometimes into questioning Him.

The good thing is, there is always a realization at the end of the day. I do feel God's presence in HIS works. When I fell into a pit he dropped a ladder for me to climb up. I can see His blessed hands making little miracles in my LIFE.

Exchanging links/link love/link train

At the height of sailing from one blog to another, I docked into a piece of writing which ignited disputation among other bloggers, though I'd rather not mention the author and the blog itself. Apparently, it caught my attention as the issue seems to tackle the meat space particularly the blogger's world. Our fellow blogger lambasted the idea of exchanging links/link love/link train for some reasons that he identified and I prefer not to be specific about it.

As vivid to everyone, the freedom in blogging is broad and boundless. Everyone blogs for varied reasons, for different advocacies and for dictinct intents. For whatever purpose we're upholding, respect should be taken into consideration. Personally I do offer link exchange if I find a certain blog interesting and making new friends likewise. Noone is actually imposing this practice to the bloggers. If exchanging links not your cup of tea, the decision always lies at your fingertips. After all we possess the so-called PERSONAL CHOICE.

Turned nanny

Everyone can readily identify the mother's sacrifice in raising children. For single women, we can never delve on the true hardship that our mothers went through until we take a dose of it probably when we settle down.

I've just realized that last Sunday. My elder sister paid us a visit with his better-half and son last weekend. They're settling in Lucena but my sister is working in ParaƱaque. I volunteered to take turn in taking care of my 1-year old nephew, Cedrick, I cuddled him for just an hour and a half.Oh my! My arms are still aching until today. Just imagine doing the same stuff every minute of the day 'til the baby learns to walk by his own. Can't imagine myself though babies are so dear to me. To mark that, I'll make a backtrack of the bygone days during my elementary years in Cebu when I spent most of my time in our neighbor's house just to play with a baby.

This occurrence made me ponder to enjoy the life I have these days coz I might not experience the same thing when I'll make a vow to tie the knot.

It's TGIF!

Friday's my fave day (I know everyone does) but not during second and fourth Friday of the month coz it only means we'll be attending our monthly meeting and it also means rising up earlier than the usual and I direly hate it. I'm a night owl kind of a person so waking up at 7 or 8 is an ordeal. My body is hooked up to my bed and my eyelid is glued perfectly. But then again I have to earn money...hehe..it's what motivates me. Being late only implies rebuffing to our monthly "perfect attendance" incentive.

A wake-up call

OMG! This is so horrific! I gained weight. I'm tossing out this fact until my colleague started to touch my belly and it's bulging (huhuhu). I'm not eating a great deal, I swear. The perpetrator maybe is my sedentary lifestyle. Most of the time I got up late at 10:00 A.M. or 11, go to work at 1:00 P.M. and take the weight off my feet the whole day. On weekends, I prefer to watch a movie/TV and read magazines. I badly need an exercise. Actually, last month I got a glimpse of Harold opening a website, it's www.freetrainers.com and he urged me to register. Basically, it's an online health and fitness community which offers free customized fitness & nutritional plans. I was indeed interested (Who wouldn't want Katrina Halili's body). And I did registered. At first I was following the instructions faithfully with great zeal. But because I'm such a lazybone, it was all in fiasco again.

I realize I need to work double-time in view of that fact. I have to get rid of the unwanted fats in my belly. Well, I visited the site again and tried collecting my Workout Plan.Aja!

Freetrainers can be of help to those moms out there and career women who cannot afford to go to a gym for hundred reasons. You don't have to travel and it's absolutely free, we just have to have a computer and will power. To people whose budget is kinda tight, this is the answer to all your clamors!

Tarak Ridge, Mt. Mariveles, Bataan

TARAK RIDGE

Mariveles, Bataan
Jump off point: Brgy. Alas-asin, Mariveles
Hours to summit: 2 days, 5-6 hours
Specs: Major climb

Tarak Peak is situated in Maraviles, Bataan. To head for Bataan, we took a ferry in the seaport at Roxaz Boulevard. While sailing, Mother Nature unveiled the calm sea and the lucid blue sky. The scenic view was apparent and the sight utterly relieves the burnout we got from the loads of office works in the city. We arrived at the place in no time. It took us 1 hour to reach the place. From the wharf, we need to hire a van to take us to Maraviles. At around 2 o’ clock we started trekking. The sun was at its peak, and so the heat was really intense. We marched along the wilderness in which after the long trek we reached Papaya River. The sun has gone down below the horizon so we opted to set our camp, and agreed to climb the peak the next day. That night was very cold. And the water in the river was chilled. The sound of drifting water is very relaxing and calming. A chitchat and a beer ends the night after an arduous walk.

Why are you late?

Being late at times is of course acceptable but when it's chronic that will make things horrendous. I have been working in my current job in Makati for more than a year now and I'd incurred two lates only. I guess that's already an achievement considering the amount of time I spent from home to work. When it comes to attendance and tardiness, I can say that my track record is impressive, the same is true in my previous jobs.

Recently, a colleague and is a good friend of mine was being reprimanded by the HRD for acquiring 5 lates in one cut-off. Apparently, this is not the first time that her attention was being called for the same violation hence I can't figure out the reason/s for her still committing similar glitch all over again. And the later reckoned two things: TIME MANAGEMENT and SELF-MOTIVATION.

The key to being on time is understanding why you're always late. After unleashing the reasons, the next step would be finding out the ways to get over it. After all the tactic for being on time at work is not a secret at all. Loving your job could be a motivation aside from the monetary incentive that we're getting.

DIVERSE EXCUSES FOR BEING LATE

1. Traffic Jam
2. MRT is so crowded
3. I didn't hear my clock's alarm
4. I have stomachache/headache/toothache
5. I got up late
6. Can't decide on what dress to wear
7. Emergency at home
8. It's hard to catch a bus/jeep/taxi
9. ano pa kaya?????
