Party! Party!

Our company christmas party was held at Picnic Groove, Tagaytay last Dec. 22. It was sunny and obviously hot in Tagaytay that day. But it was not a hindrance in striking a pose under the burning fire of the sun. 'Twas not what a doctor ordered party coz we were craving for more, what we enjoyed the most is the scenic view and the perfect time together, kulitan and laughter while on our way.

We went home around 4:00 PM as we were anticipating the traffic jam ahead. And alas! The traffic was terribly heavy in South Express way.Well, as expected everybody's finding their most comfortable position to doze off on our way home, honestly I haven't got a good sleep the day before Saturday. Not because I'm overly excited about it but during normal days I used to sleep late like 3:00 A.M. But since we have to be present in our rendezvous at 5:30, getting a good night sleep just seemed impossible. Yeah I know, it doesn't show in the photos that I lack sleep..:-)

Christmas Mishap

It's only 5 days to go before Christmas but I haven't done my christmas shopping yet (huhuhuhu) simply because our boss gave us a very nice christmas present. We will be receiving our very early 13th month pay this coming Friday along with our salary(dba ang bait). Whereas in other companies they give it away at least a week before christmas for humanitarian reason and by giving the employees ample time to do their christmas shopping. Can't help but to compare this company to my previous ones.

While thinking of this big mishap, I came to the conclusion that the management doesn't know the importance of this holiday to the Filipino people since they're Korean and they don't put much emphasis on this time of the year. They just seem blase. For them Christmas is just another ordinary day except for Christians in Korea [sigh]. What a shame. And one more fuel added to the fire, for the xmas party the employees shouldered the venue, food and everything which is really quirk and disgusting. I am utterly disappointed with the way they're handling it.

Perhaps a perfect company just don't exist. Although I can't deny the fact that this job comes along with a heap of freebies. First, we aren't too pressured in the workplace, we're more relax (or lax), the environment is conducive, very warm people to work with (unlike my previous job daming plastic) and I can consider it as a good-paying-job (and before I forget "unlimited internet surfing"). I can just thank and praise God for everything. There's numerous number of people performing menial jobs nowaday, which ironically receive just a penny in return for their hard labor--a reason to celebrate this holiday blithely.

Erwin & Elai Nuptial

Last week was so stressful for us. We're worried about what to wear, our hairdo, makeups, presents and everything. And now t'was over with a smile in our lips. A good friend of mine, Elai, got married last Saturday. I witnessed the painstaking preparation of the wedding, it was absolutely a pain in the neck. But all's well that ends well. I'd like to congratulate Mommy G (a former colleague and a friend of mine) for being one of the casts of a play directed by John Lapuz entitled "Twosome." Your Jigu family is very proud of what have you become. We're so excited to watch you act on-stage.

Hopefully I together with the rest of the gang could watch it at UST, although it'll be shown during workdays, wish we could catch the early show at 10:oo a.m. Tickets are sold for P130, very affordable but I heard through the office grapevine we could watch it for free. Yepeyyy!

It's only now that i finally grabbed some time to work on this. I was born on July 26, which coincided with St. Anne's, that's where my mama got my name Barbra Ann (huh pano ung Barbra?). Actually my grandma's name is Barbara so parang pinaganda lng.

• Secretive. trulalo..there's no other person who knows everything about me but GOD. got lots of secret na walang ibang nakakaalam (i'm good at hiding).
• Difficult to fathom and to be understood. i'm outspoken, so as much as I could i want to communicate what's on my mind.
• Quiet unless excited or tensed. i used to be, but now i'm sorry but i'm such a loquacious buddy
• Takes pride in oneself. ummmm not much. i always think that i have less but this doesn't mean that i'm not confident enough.
• Has reputation. good reputation
• Easily consoled. kinda
• Honest. i do have a share of white lies and true lies..hehe
• Concerned about people’s feelings. yes, but a have to admit that sometimes people just misunderstood my actions, but of course i do care.
• Friendly. i always own up that i'm not the type to initiate the first move...that's the reason why during first meetings people usually dubbed me as snob.
• Approachable...i couldn't promise heaven and earth but try me...hehe
• Emotional temperamental and unpredictable...sometimes
• Moody and easily hurt. a big yes
• Witty and sparkly. d nman masyado....
• Not revengeful. i'm afraid i sometimes take the law into my own hands...^^
• Forgiving but never forgets. definitely
• Dislikes nonsensical and unnecessary things. sometimes you need humor and... nonsensical and unnecessary things make us laugh...kaya nga patok c Angelica Jones eh...(joke lng po e2)life doesn't have to be serious always.
• Sensitive and forms impressions carefully.yeah indeed that's me
• Caring and loving. over time i've proven myself to be like one
• Treats others equally. i'm afraid i can't but i tried and still trying..^^
• Strong sense of sympathy...yup
• Judges people through observations. I do. that's why we do have the so-called "first impression" di ba kc we tend to make inferences just by mere looking and observing how a person acts or behaves.
• Hardworking. hayyy i've been working all my life for my family
• No difficulties in studying. sa thesis lang ako nahirapan tlg. i even cried after my defense. it is because after I went an extra mile to iron out everything...then everything was put to trash. coz my thesis has to do with "the effects of blah blah to blah blah" in which they say i need to do the research for number of years in order to substantiate my study. hello wala akong balak magstay for 10 years in college..so ayun change title tuloy...
• Loves to be alone. i love the idea of being surrounded by happy people. when i'm alone i tend to think of the tons of problems..and it's not my cup ot tea.
• Always broods about the past and the old friends..yeah usually within the circle of my friends at tea time...there's always a time to be nostalgic.
• Likes to be quiet... i've got mound of things to share..but sometimes i hate being noisy
• Not aggressive unless provoked...i'm a pacifist
• Loves to be loved...everybody loves to
• Easily hurt but takes long to recover...nahh
