WEEKEND SNAPSHOT

So I took the entrance exam yesterday. Funny coz I hit the school ground an hour ahead of the supposed schedule. T'was not because I'm extra excited over it, the weather was bad. It was dreary and drizzling so I opted to catch an early bus to avoid delay on whatsoever causes. I was a bit hesitant to enter the school then, only to find out that there were bunch of examinees waiting inside. It was a relief.

The exam was not extremely difficult as I've expected it to be. Though I admit that mathematics is really a weakness of mine. I remember myself shivering on the sight of my Math teacher as she was walking towards our classroom in highschool. Yeah I have a phobia in Mathematics. I wish my mama enrolled me in Kumon. I envy those children who can perform mathematical operation in just a sec.

Though yesterday was priceless moment since my aunts and cousins were around, my ate's son is a big plus. He's the only apple of our eyes. We were just in one room, played around and made fun with the kiddo and had ice cream and pizza later on that day.

It's been drizzling nowadays, mmmm....is summer over?

CREDIT CARD: DOES IT REALLY HELP?

I've acquired a credit card two years ago. Joel otherwise has three cards but he's not using any of it to date. Not to be sarcastic, I find it handy more so if you're on a tight budget, and whenever you're leisurely stroll around the mall and your eyes set on something you direly want but didn't have plans of buying it. And whenever you're all psyched because the bag and the shoes you were eyeing are on sale. Women are undeniably impulsive shoppers, we tend to splurge like Rebecca Bloomwood in the book "Confessions of a Shopaholic." You'll laugh at me when I tell you that I always think of her when I make purchases. But to be clear, I'm way saner than her (^^).

It's about time to do away with my credit card as i realized it has done no good to me anymore. The gory credit card company I'm using is bluntly diddling me. It's like they're robbing me with my consent, how lame.

TURN BETWEEN TWO LOVERS

Vanessa Carlton, the voice behind the hit song in 2002 THOUSAND MILES will grace the Philippine Island this coming May 10, Saturday. I saw the ad in Glorietta and made a pact right off the bat with my colleagues to catch it. But then again I got a message from Joyce that our SUMMER ESCAPADE PART 2 will be on the same date.

Alright, so how can I solve this dilemma. Think! think! think! Watching Vanessa Carlton on stage can be a once-in-a-lifetime event, well who knows if she'll be coming back? Plus the fact that it's absolutely free. I'm not gonna spend any single penny for it. VERSUS. The family has been planning to go to the beach and I don't want to miss this occasion. Everyone in the family is excited about it. I don't want to be left out.

The answer is a big QUESTION MARK.

ROSE FOR THE LADIES

I received a red rose from Vien today. I love flowers! Thanks Vien.

Red rose has number of thorns in it, when it pinches your fingers it hurts. Everyday in my life is just like red roses. Sometimes life is not always a bed of roses, but life is great with GOD.

I'm on top of the world today! I have just been approved by payperpost . It's been awhile after I signed up for payperpost, I've been waiting eagerly day in and day out for the good news to come and now it's within my grip. I know what caused the delay though, I overlooked some informations to fill in. And because of that I've realized something, Do It Right The First Time.

Initially, I have my heart set on blogging to hone up my knack in writing, and make friends eventually in the meat space. Then day by day as I hop from one blog to another, I discovered one thing in common from their blogs, their stories about payperpost. I was then inspired and enticed by them who get to do their fave thing which is blogging while earning money from it. As you know, I am dying to get an extra income since I've got a lot of freetime and payperpost is definitely the answer.

I love exploring and discovering new places, may it be out-of-town or out-of-the-country. Now, I won't worry about saving money for my future trips. I can visit my dream destination in no time. I can even treat my mom to a shopping spree which I always want to do.

FIRST TIME MO?

As usual, I took a train this afternoon. I was in the first car which is alloted for women, children and men who are carrying toddlers. Then suddely came an american pop rushing along with two kids. The father is trying to explain something to his son and of course was talking to them in his native tongue. I was not paying attention to them since there was another scenery that caught my eyes. OMG! all people were looking at them with a dropped jaw all the while that the family was there. They're looking at them as if they're seeing strange beings from outer space. I was kinda observing their reactions and their faces. I don't have any clue as to their gesture and facial expression. So can you decode their minds?

That's one of the treats I get from patronizing public transportation. I get to observe Filipinos in particular, their behavior. All I can say is that, it's DISGUSTING. Gonna tell you next time. Happy weekend!
