SO LONG 25

ON BEING 25

In a few minutes, I'll be saying hello to the world of 26. This is my last hour of living as 25. 25 was a year of topsy-turvy, leap of faith, challenges, learnings and realizations. I long for more but I lost a great deal. I tried and I didn't fail. I prayed but left unanswered. I'm waiting. Trully, I have come of age.

WELCOMING 26

I look forward to a remarkable year. I won't wish much for myself because I know God has always stayed beside me. I lay my prayers to my loves ones that they'll live bountifully and blissfully. Cheers!

ALIVE AND KICKING

Oooppps! I'm back in my sanctuary. I do apologize for not hopping that much these days my dear blogger friends. Things are not going well this time. Just yesterday nanay (my lola) was released from the hospital, she's agonizing from diabetes. In fact, she was confined twice last week. Our hearts was turned into pieces when last Sunday she couldn't recognized any of us. I was in tears upon hearing her saying "WHO ARE YOU?" though I tried to conceal it. She was hallucinating. She was seeing dead people. You know how scared we are. You know what's on our mind. We prayed....a lot....

But we're GLAD she's home now.

That's all for now. See you around!

DIFFERENT BUT THE SAME

So there's a Chinese lass in my Saturday class. Not with sarcasm, but I always worried about her when the teacher utters bilingual. It's obvious that she paid the same amount that we paid for the tuition but doesn't get the equal knowledge Filipino students get. I had the chance to have a conversation with her last Saturday and I related the thingy I'm contemplating about. She was laughing when she answered that sometimes she got confused if the teacher spoke Tagalog or English.

And asked about how does she go to school? She recounted that she ones tried to take a cab but the driver refused to use the meter and compelled her to pay 150. Even with her announcing disagreement the driver still went on. When she reached her destination, she got off from the taxi, paid 100 and walked off. Hahaha! We fell down laughing at her remarks.

While enjoying the short conversation with her, I meditated upon the fact that even if we're divided by race but we're adjoined in several ways. They think the way we think. They're bold. They're happy people too.
