ABOUT THE BIG DAY

My wedding will be this coming Feb. 18. It would just be a simple civil wedding. It's a mutual decision. We were thinking that the money that will be spent for a wondeful church wedding will be a good start to buy stuff that we direly need. Though at first it didn't suit me for the thought that every woman dream on walking down the aisle to exchange vows with the one they love, dressed in white, long gown along with people gazing in awe, keeps hounding me.

For practical reasons, I shifted my thought from that point of view to a more pragmatic side. My papa and mama along with my younger brother will be coming from Cebu that will complete the puzzle. Everything is settled now, we're just waiting for the big day. I can't just turn my back from work that Jowel did most of the requirements we need for the wedding. We initially thought of having it here in Makati since I resided here for quite long time. But it would be so laborious coz I need to get a voter's ID first so it finally laid down in Caloocan (Jowel's place). Everything seems blur to me. I can't picture a scene on that day. I hope it'll go well.

MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR

Christmas and New Year just passed by so quickly. I have been scanting with my updates these days. That's what I'm guilty of, plus I'm also delinquent in visiting my ka-bloggers. I really apologize guys. I've got a part time job in the morning. That's as early as 5 til 9 am. Then I'll doze off for two hours and head on to my full time job which starts at 1:45 til 11 PM. This routine runs from Monday to Friday, of course weekends are spent doing household chores and other important stuff. Let me tell you a bit of my Christmas holiday.

DEC. 25, 2008
I had a blast with my family as usual. Every minute was fun-filled. I couldn't afford to miss Christmas and New Year with them. Guess what! I had a White Christmas! Yes I had! Believe me! We went to Snow World in Start City. Though the crowded place was a pain in the neck, it was worth the long wait. I queued for twooooo hours. No cameras are allowed inside so we have to fall in line againnn for picture taking. We were dead tired when we got home. I paid for all-rides ticket but I ended up availing only three rides. The queue in every rides were terribly longgg (well what do you expect). Though I considered it as one of my best Christmases, I won't step out of the house again next Christmas. ^^

CHANGING THE TUNE

There will be major changes in my life this year. Before the great revelation, I'm so grateful for the previous year's bountiful blessings. I always thought that I'm constantly showered with upheavals. Days and months would not be completed without problems pestering me. Shortcomings always come my way. I was so sick and tired of it. I can't just put myself to a good sleep without musing on ways to ease off everything. But God is so good. He always touches my heart and leads me always to His way.
I'll be getting married soon. I'll say goodbye to singleness and will embrace a more challenging role. It could be tough to get there. But I'll be fine.
Happy weekend!

It's about time
